Tomoko Nakasato, from Hokkaido, Japan, started as a hip-hop street dancer in the 90s and combines this experience with contemporary dance techniques, ballet, sound art as well as physiotherapy. She lives and works in Berlin since 2008. From 2011 until today she has worked internationally with people like Ilpo Väisänen (Pan sonic, the Angel), Dirk Dresselhaus (Schneider TM, the Angel), Jochen Arbeit (Einstürzende Neubauten), Damo Suzuki (Ex-Can), Takako Suzuki, Takehito Koganezawa and Frank Bretschneider (Raster-Noton).
Jakob Gruhl
Jakob Gruhl is a graduate museologist and was born in 1986 in Bautzen/ Budyšin. Since 1999 Jakob is active in the field of hip hop and electronic music. During his studies he focused on contemporary witnesses and new media in museums. Jakob has accompanied the Mazetools project from the beginning and is dedicated to the theoretical and practical exploration of innovative music technologies. He is co-founder of ZiMMT e.V. in Leipzig, part of Sorbian cultural networks and on the Interdisciplinary Advisory Board for the Cultural Office of the City of Leipzig.
