It’s been a big year for English-language literature in Berlin, and it’s time to celebrate! Let’s wrap up 2018 in style, get some facetime in before everyone flees this city’s dreaded winter, and raise a toast to all that 2019 has in store!
The evening will kick off at 7 pm. Then, at 7:30, find yourself a team and take part in a fiendish literary quiz devised by The Reader Berlin’s Victoria Gosling and SAND Journal’s Florian Duijsens. Each member of the winning team will receive their very own swag bag full of goodies. From 8:30 pm, freshen your drink, catch up with new and old friends, and stick around for beats by Fiction Canteen’s DJ Lucy Jones.
The merch table will have all of Berlin’s must-reads like The Reader’s Home is Elsewhere Anthology, Literally Speaking’s inaugural issue, the brand spankin’ new SAND issue 18, and more! Get all your holiday shopping done in one stop.
