Um ein eventuelles Ansteckungsrisiko bezüglich Covid-19 bestmöglich zu reduzieren, können max. 5 Gäste gleichzeitig die Installation betreten. Eine Voranmeldung ist nicht erforderlich, unser Einlass kontrolliert die Besucherzahl. Eintritt ist nur mit Mund-Nasen-Bedeckung möglich.
Das ausland verfügt über eine Lüftungsanlage, die die Raumluft kontinuierlich austauscht. Das Beisammensein vor und nach dem Ausstellungsbesuch ist bei gutem Wetter im Hof möglich.
Wir empfehlen, Tickets für ein bestimmtes Zeitfenster vorab online zu kaufen; ein spontaner Besuch mit Bezahlung an der Bargeldkasse ist aber ebenso möglich.

In order to reduce the infection risk in context of covid-19, a maximum of 5 guests can attend the installation at a time. Pre-registration is not required, our staff will oversee the number of visitors. Access is only possible with mouth/nose-covering.
ausland's ventilation system renews the air inside continuously. In case of good weather, a small get-together before and after the visit is possible in our yard.
We recommend to buy tickets for your preferred time slot online in advance. A spontaneous visit (paying admission in cash at the door) is also possible.

Mit der Größe einer Schallplattenhülle, gefertigt aus Plexiglas und gebürstetem Aluminium, hat er es mit seinem zeitlosen Design in die ständige Sammlung des Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) geschafft.
In der Installation des Klangkünstlers Hanno Leichtmann spielen zwei SL-10-Plattenspieler speziell für die Installation angefertigte Schallplatten im Repeatmodus ab, so dass sich die Recordings im Laufe der Zeit zueinander verschieben und verschiedene Kombinationen aus darken Ambient-Jams, elektronischen Percussionmutationen und mäandernden Stimmpatterns einen dystopischen Soundtrack erzeugen.
[en] The Technics SL-10 turntable is a hi-fi and design classic from 1979. With the size of a record sleeve, made of plexiglass and brushed aluminum, it has made it into the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with its timeless design.
In the sound installation by artist Hanno Leichtmann, two SL-10 turntables are playing specially manufactured records in repeat mode so that the recordings shift over time and various combinations. dark ambient jams, electronic percussion mutations and meandering voice patterns create a dystopian soundtrack.
