Die Musiker Jonathan Crayford (NZ) und Marlon Browden (USA) kamen Ende der Neunziger in New York zusammen, wo sie in verschiedene Formationen miteinander spielten. Dann trennten sich die Wege. Crayford kehrte nach Neuseeland zurück, wo er sich in den folgenden Jahren als Komponist, Pianist, Multiinstrumentalist und Filmemacher einen Namen machte. Browden arbeitete, falls er nicht gerade als Schlagzeuger mit Vernon Reid, Wax Poetic, Norah Jones oder anderen tourte, an seinen eigenen Projekten wie die Band Cherry weiter. Nun, 10 Jahre später, treffen sich die beiden in Berlin, wo Browden mittlerweile lebt und das Crayford bereist, spontan für ein Konzert wieder.

Jonathan Crayford is an award winning composer having scored feature films, stage plays and published his own works and recordings. He has a versatile approach to music and is also a skilled pianist, bass player and percussionist. His areas of interest and experience also encompass film making, story telling/writing, painting, sculpture and scientific projects. He is currently residing in Paris while working on a music and film project about the French mathematician Évariste Galois.
Marlon Browden has collaborated on drums with artists like John Scofield, Vernon Reid, Wax Poetic and Norah Jones. His band Cherry, where he sings and plays Wurlitzer, presents a warm fresh style somewhere between rock, electronic and soul.
