Ronin

Ronin is an imaginary soundtrack band. Bruno Dorella created it to
follow his passion for movie music composers like Ennio Morricone, Nino
Rota, Angelo Badalamenti, mixing it with traditional music from all
over the world (mostly Italy and Balcans) and with avant-rock and
experimental music. The whole concept of the band is to make imaginary
soundtracks for defeated heroes. They released a self-titled EP in 2002
on Bar La Muerte records, and then two albums ("Ronin" in 2004 and
"Lemming" in 2007) for the Italian indie label Ghost. Bruno Dorella is
also known for playing in OvO and Bachi Da Pietra. Chet Martino on
bass, Enzo Rotondaro on drums and special guest Nicola Ratti on guitar
(check out his solo album on Megaplomb records) complete the line up.
"Lemming" was record in January in the main Italian music
magazines.
