For his new project, Dirk Dresselhaus aka Schneider TM has over the years recorded sound material from construction sites in Berlin - a city constantly under construction, like they say. In concert, he will melt such field recordings with electronic live improvisation, while videoartist Lillevan, well known as a pioneer of intelligent live-visuals, will screen projections all over the site. But hey, don´t worry - you can leave your hardhats at home, trespassing this multi-layered audiovisual construction site is emphatically allowed!

Dirk Dresselhaus was born on 28.08.1970 in Bielefeld, Germany.
Since the late 80’s he is active in different musical fields. From 1989 until 1997 he played and sang in indie-noiserock and -pop bands like Locust Fudge or Hip Young Things before he became more active in electronic music around 1997 with his project Schneider TM, which is responsible for a couple of experimental electro-freak-pop albums and mini-hits like ‚Reality Check’ or a coverversion of a song by The Smiths called ‚The Light 3000’ (w/ Kptmichigan). Next to many one-off projects like composing and recording music for movies (1. Mai, 66/67, Polnische Ostern etc.) theater (The Scorpionfish, Louis & Bebe w/ Joanna Dudly) or radioplays (Release, Hochhaus w/ Paul Plamper), he plays & records with freeform noise-projects like Angel (w/ Ilpo Väisänen of Pan sonic), Mr. Schmuck’s Farm (w/ Hildur Gudnadottir of Lost In Hildurness / Mum etc.) and Real Time (w/ Reinhold Friedl of Zeitkratzer) on a regular basis. Since quite a while he frequently plays improv concerts on varying instruments like guitar, electronics, balaphon or using fieldrecordings. In 2007 Dirk Dresselhaus and Michael Beckett started their own indielabel MirrorWorldMusic.

Lillevan is an animation, video and media artist. He is perhaps best known as founding member of the visual / music group Rechenzentrum (1997-2008).
Parallel to his work in Rechenzentrum, he has performed and collaborated with many artists from a wide array of genres, from opera to installation, from minimal electronic experimentalism to dance and classical music. Lillevan has performed and exhibited all over the globe, and has performed at all the major media festivals.
